Raja Ampat Centrals/North DIVING - 8 Days 7 Nights

Please note, this is a sample itinerary. Each Cruise is different and the detailed day-day itinerary and sites will be tailored to suit guests’ preferences well as to weather and ocean conditions. Private Charters are more flexible in the itinerary compared to scheduled Cruises.

Day 1: Welcome to Raja Ampat

After arriving at the airport, you will make your way to the dock and board your Phinisi Schooner. After a tour of the vessel and a safety briefing, enjoy a lunch as we set sail for Gam Island, Indonesia in the early afternoon.

Day 2: Magic at Mioskon

Enjoy your first full day of Raja Ampat as you rise to a wonderful breakfast and stunning views of Moiskon Island, a gorgeous sloping reef that is ideal for getting used to the water. Dive under the coral heads for the friendly Wobbegong Shark and sharpen your eyes by seeking out pygmy seahorses. After lunch, explore world renowned dive site Blue Magic, an underwater sea mound rising about 10 meters. Large schools of fusiliers, trevallies and barracuda can be seen here. Also, keep a look out for Manta and Eagle Rays!
A two-hour cruise ends at Yangefo Island, where the vessel anchors for the night.

Day 3: Mayhem and Citrus Ridge

Rise with the sun and enjoy an early morning dive at Mayhem: an action-packed divesite where sharks, barracuda and napoleons are all active in the eye of the current. The ascent offers a variety of soft corals and a rainbow of anthias. After your dive, you can kayak or paddleboard through the mangroves to one of the many unspoiled white sand beaches.
Citrus Ridge is where you will have your afternoon dive. This sloping reef offers a uniquely colorful wall soaked in orange and yellow soft corals. The reef is also home to schools of the interesting bumphead parrot fish.
During Sunset, we will begin our luxury overnight cruise to Wayag.

Day 4: The Bay at Wayag

This day offers you’re the beautiful Wayag Bay. You can trek up Mount Pindito or enjoy a speedboat tour of the many limestone islands and enjoy diving at Ridge Rock. Sunset means the vessel will head south, back down to Aljui Bay for a pearl farm visit. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the world of pearl farming, one of Raja Ampats main source of income for its villages. Your Phinisi will move to Wofoh Island for more activities and a delicious bbq lunch/ dinner on the beach. After a slow meal on a private beach, you will set sail for Aborek Island overnight.

Day 5 - Aborek Village

After breakfast, dive at Aborek for a chance to spot many manta rays. These graceful giants can grow up to six meters from wing tip to wing tip. After diving with the Manta Rays, our boat will anchor at the village for a short visit. Here is a good chance to buy handmade souvenirs! We will then go to Gam Island for a relaxing overnight anchorage.

Day 6: World Famous Diving

Today you will experience the Dampier Strait: a nutrient rich part of the ocean that is rife with micro and macro life. Here, famous dive sites such as Sardine Reef and Cape Kri are highly recommended. We will move to Kabui Bay for an unforgettable kayak or paddle boarding experience among the limestone islands. The yacht will stay there during the night then move to Besir Village.

Day 7: Sunrise Trek

Head off the boat for an early morning trek starting at 530am to get the best chance at spotting the elusive Birds of Paradise. The uphill walk takes about 30 minutes but the reward is panoramic sunrise views from atop the island! Use this day for various water sport actives. In the late afternoon, we will set sail to SORONG OR WAISAI.

Day 8: WaiSai/Sorong

Your final day in Raja Ampat with Crew Farewells
